Korea Beat has corporal punishment and mentions Teacher A but what if this was a foreign teacher? Somehow I think that that persons name would be all over the Korean media as was the case of Mr. Kobayashi from Japan. Remember the Austrailan teacher whose email address and name were published in all the newspapers after some crazed ex-girlfriend wanted to get revenge?
This quote from Teacher A was kind of funny “if this kind of thing spreads around the world and huge sums of compensation have to paid, where is the teacher who will stay in the classroom? It’s sad to see a society where educational corporal punishment is considered a problem.”
