While everyone is running the Roh Bush comedy classic I thought it might be better to go with something a little more serious.  Our annual passage from the guys over at Al-qaeda.  Bin Laden has asked all of us to convert to Islam and from what all the terrorism experts are saying is “he’s trying to be a nice guy.” Yeap at least that is what the Muslim world is saying.  He gave us a chance to convert what else do we want from him? So is everyone packing up and heading down to their local mosque for the formal ceremony? if anything this shows just how insane these people are and yes even the so called moderate ones who are so silent all the time except of course when a US Soldier shoots at a mosque where insurgents are hiding, or a college student flushed the Koran down the toilet at Pace university then they are all over it loud and boisterous.

What the pay off really means

To me what it comes down to is that Korea is not really a partner in the War on Terror never was never will be. How can they even call themselves an ally after paying off a large sum of money to the same people who help perpetuate the 9/11 attacks. How can anyone call them an ally or how could they ever be trusted again? Simply they can’t!

The Korean government was so dumbfounded at the start of this crisis they tried to pass off responsibility to the United States and begged for assistance from anyone who could possibly help. The problem was no one could or WOULD come out and negotiate with the Taliban. Korea chose a path and ultimately it has to live with the decision it made.

Boo Hoo we lost let’s blame the referee

This seems to really be the only course of action SK athletes take after losing international sporting competitions. WHINE WHINE WHINE and blame a foreigner. Growing up playing sports and very much active in sports today you were taught how to be a good winner and more importantly a good loser.  This has to be instilled in young athletes.  Sportsmanship is defined by how you respect your opponent both in victory and defeat. Will Koreans ever learn this?

Korean Nationalism changing?

Chosun reports that seemingly the transformation is going from the left towards the right.

“As far as large social currents are concerned, it’s clear that both intellectuals and the general public are now moving from leftwing nationalism to rightwing post-nationalism,” Kim Ho-ki said. “But we’ll need more observation and research to see what the new nationalism will look like.”

The left led by roh himself tried very hard to make the United States the villian in the hostage crisis. Many within his government’s holding high level positions continued to pass blame off to the U.S. but there was never any large following of this load of bull-S–T by the main populace.

In my honest opinion the main reason for not conducting a rescue operation was nationalism.  The Korean military and government knew that nothing could have been accomplished without a lot of help from the US forces in Afghanistan.  If it was successful it would have largely been because of US forces and if it failed it would have been because the ROK SF did not have the capability to pull it off in the first place.  Bottom line is they ruled out military options from almost day one!

A few questions:

Will Korea ever get over its hatred of Japan? Will they ever not blame the U.S. for its shortcomings? Will they ever truly understand free trade by opening its markets. Can they create an environment that is foriegn friendly for investments and business opportunities?
All of these will need answers before Korea could ever progress on the world stage.  Oh yeah and one more thing stop the 3rd world country desolate act of burning flags because you are a little upset about something. It is a very pathetic attempt to prove a point and it puts you in the same category as your good buddies the Taliban!

More Cartoons = more pissed off Muslims!

Michelle Malkin is reporting on this phenomenon that seems to be as regular as bowel movements. If the muslim world might come out and condem say KIDNAPPINGS, BEHEADINGS, SUICIDE BOMBINGS, using Mosques to store weapons, or strapping C-4 explosive vests on 6 year old boys then maybe we could take them a little more seriously. Ultimately its almost time for the PC crowd give into the hypocrisy, and loony world that is Islam and call a spade a spade. This is no religion of peace. WAKE UP!

Shocking never before heard news out of NK!

Oh wait this all sounds familiar doesn’t it? Haven’t we been down this street before hmmmm say about 12 years ago? What should be news is something along the lines of

“NK agrees to shutdown all labor and prison camps”

We will ever see this headline? I doubt it but I think there will be hope for the millions that suffer under Kim Jong Il once he dies.  Lets hope that is sooner rather than later!

Okay buddy you are not gay and never have been but I guess just for that split second some guy in the stall next to you solicits you for some sexual favors you decided to go for it!  Well Senator Homo no one is buying it. I can not fathom how someone in such a high profile position would fall prey to this type of thing. The last thing I would think of while taking a dump is “hey I wonder if they guy next to me is horny right now.”

Just more examples of people are not remorseful until they get caught and even then it is because they have to be!

If most of the allies coming out and calling Korea pretty much a bunch of idiots for giving into the demands of terrorists wasn’t bad enough now you have the Taliban pretty much praising them for making their actions so successful! I can not imagine anything else the Korean government can do to make themselves look more feeble and lacking a spine. Well wait there is another summit coming up next month so assisting in the killing of NATO troops in Afghanistan may be trumped by assisting and financing the labor camps, gulags, torture, and starvation of 23 million people.
